had to scrap footage

 I check the videos I recorded last night and it wasn't good enough to be used but I do have an idea I might try after doing this blog. The idea is the inverse of a classic way to open a movie it was still fun filming. I had film it and I will edit it tomorrow was it is very late at night. What I saw was just a grey screen playing audio were on my phone it played the video and audio which really bugged me as I tried to send the footage from my phone into my laptop but due to it being on Google photos it is not save in my phone's storage. I did try having it work but it won't but still a learning experiences on thing I learned was to make sure the camera was filming and not taking photos.  I did at first thanked the footage was okay that night but after seeing it with fresh eyes and not tired ones I saw the flaws in it and the troubles they can endure original I intended the footage to be a long shot with cuts to the characters to give a nice transition to there meeting but ...

Short Film Research: Big Take

  In the short film Big Take there is a common usage of tracking shots, medium close ups, extreme close ups, and eye level all of these were used to help create the feel of the drama genre as they increase the emotions in scenes to achieve the desired effect. In Big Take there is limited amount of dialogue only being given to the sides character, something common in the short film is diegetic sound like the walking of the police, and the lighting of the zippo lighter. The sets in the short film are mainly residential with neighborhoods being used, but for the place the two criminals hide in it is grimy and old looking and the costumes in the short film is basic nothing big about the costumes only doing what they need too. The props in the short film were cigarettes and a lighter and they used them to tell the story as they are swapped. The Amazing Pitch Idea

   First of all, please hear out the pitches we came up with. 1.    A Naval Captain and his Lower, set out at sea for 15 years never seeing true land, finally set foot upon land only to be met with conflict. 2.    A Roman servant is mistreated and decides to take revenge by organizing a revolution to overthrow the emperor, but realizes how struggle of being an emperor and receives the same fate.      Why did we decide on these Pitches in the first place out of others that we came up with?  The first pitch just hit the bell for me and Daniel, towards us it sounded really unique from all the other ideas that came to mind, and unlike any movies that were made at that time. One of the main motivations in the story was the amount of things that have changed within 15 years of evolving human technology and trends.
