Genre Decision-Comedy

Image
The Genre we chosen is Comedy as it is the most open and fun to work with as the conventions are easy to break as it is suppose to be broken as comedy is a free world as when used with other genres it tells a great story. Because of that we will combed drama and comedy to tell a multi-color story being a mature story but also funny to not be all drama as the conventions in a drama is important to tell the story were if it a comedy with drama parts it break the conventions of comedy. A story that is both comedy and have drama elements can be differential to execute well but when done right it can be a great thing to watch. One inspiration we will have is the Barbie movie as it cleverly uses both the drama and comedy genre to tell it's amazing story. So we will hide the serious story beets in the comedy but not lower the importance of the plot point which is the hard part of taking Drama elements into a Comedy. (The image lie to me)

The Amazing Pitch Idea

Image
First of all, please hear out the pitches we came up with. 1.    A Naval Captain and his Lower, set out at sea for 15 years never seeing true land, finally set foot upon land only to be met with conflict. 2.    A Roman servant is mistreated and decides to take revenge by organizing a revolution to overthrow the emperor, but realizes how struggle of being an emperor and receives the same fate.      Why did we decide on these Pitches in the first place out of others that we came up with?  The first pitch just hit the bell for me and Daniel, towards us it sounded really unique from all the other ideas that came to mind, and unlike any movies that were made at that time. One of the main motivations in the story was the amount of things that have changed within 15 years of evolving human technology and trends. Two sailors who had embarked on the sea for 15 years finally Sea World as it is. Meanwhile, on their adventure, they cause a multitude of problems while they travel through the big
